A mix of hotel and Public Park

Nikki Beach Miami is located in the so-called Pier Park at South Beach. Today the back of the site functions as a parking lot. Obviously the city wants to keep this area for public purposes – on the other hand Nikki Beach would be very interested in developing a hotel in exactly this area. Now, how is a public hotel created? Bay Arch proposes a solution where the public area from the beach side is continued onto the roof of the future hotel. Creating both spectacular views of the sea from most of the rooms and at the same time allowing the public to have an extraordinary park experience.
